— Overview
老經典新文創，台中設計精神」，從新與舊融合，混搭經典與新銳，從民間設計與官方文創的交集中，臺中正是透過這些「經典設計」的累積而成。在文創轉型路上，須透過跨產業的結合、經典的內化、新舊的融合，成為臺中獨有的城市面貌。由傳統的文化脈絡中蛻變而成的新穎台中形象，藉由今日的設計與文化調和，成為明日的經典。
展區介紹
A區：認識
以臺中多年發展城市創意為主題，將重要事件視覺化，從生活切入，聚焦「設計」，讓想像放行，並透過立體裝置展示再次認識臺中。串起臺中設計、藝術與都市發展的多元面向。
B區：能量
微小但不間斷的力量，是臺中對於文化產業的努力與堅持，由小而大、由累積到傳承。本區為表現臺中文創能量，將作品與成果匯聚展示，讓世界看見臺中獨一無二的創作，同時看見臺中川流不息的堅持與驚艷國際的設計力。
C區：讀物
設計從未停下腳步，不斷影響、改變著城市。透過「臺中限定」、「設計」、「未來」三個要素交集，邀請設計師以此挑選出可代表臺中的設計好物，從中帶動這座城市的設計發展趨勢，讓設計以不同姿態存在於生活之中。
D區：經典
每座偉大的城市，都有屬於自己的靈魂，而靈魂的厚度往往體現在生活的細節，尤其是飲食。因此從「吃」切入，最能了解城市的文化特質、引起共感;本區展示臺中存在於大街小巷的經典，藉由設計的再展示、藝術的再包裝，呈現臺中這座城市獨有的故事風味。
Blending the old with the new, mixing classics with cutting-edge innovations, Taichung shapes its unique urban identity through the intersection of grassroots design and official cultural initiatives. On this path of cultural and creative transformation, it is through cross-industry synergy, the internalization of classics, and the fusion of past and present that Taichung’s distinct cityscape emerges. Evolving from traditional cultural roots, a fresh image of Taichung is born—harmonizing today's design and culture to become tomorrow's classics.
Exhibition Zones
Zone A: Discover
Centering on Taichung’s decades of urban creativity, this zone visualizes milestones through the lens of daily life. By focusing on "design" and letting imagination run wild, three-dimensional installations invite visitors to rediscover Taichung, weaving together the diverse facets of the city's design, art, and urban evolution.
Zone B: Energy
Small yet unceasing efforts represent Taichung’s dedication to its cultural industries—growing from microscopic to grand, and from accumulation to inheritance. Showcasing Taichung’s creative momentum, this zone brings together signature artworks and achievements, revealing to the world Taichung's one-of-a-kind creativity, its boundless persistence, and a design prowess that captivates the international stage.
Zone C: Readings
Design never stops; it continuously shapes and transforms the city. At the intersection of three core elements—"Taichung Exclusive," "Design," and "The Future"—designers are invited to select design objects that represent Taichung. This curatorial selection drives the city’s design trends, allowing design to manifest in various forms within our daily lives.
Zone D: Classics
Every great city possesses its own soul, and the depth of that soul is often manifested in the details of daily life—especially through food. Exploring the city through "culinary culture" offers the deepest insight into its character and sparks an immediate shared resonance. This zone showcases the time-honored classics hidden within Taichung’s streets and alleys, utilizing design re-presentation and artistic repackaging to unveil the unique stories and flavors of this city.
