影像是時代的見證，也是文化記憶的載體。
葉裁、梁國龍兩位攝影家長期以影像參與見證了臺灣社會脈動與文化變遷，展覽以「位所 The Place」為題帶出臺灣客庄的地方特色，以及攝影家內心所繫的家園、土地，邀請攝影家展出其按下快門的瞬間意圖，透過影像表達的觀點及客家身分認同，對人群對所處生活世界的冷靜凝視。
梁國龍自1989年起以黑白影像為主要媒材，專注在「行板」系列影像紀實。現正值創作能量豐沛階段，他近年勤於走訪田野，其作品蘊含著音樂性，交織出如歌行板於黑白錯落、時快時緩的影像敘事氛圍，觀者得以在視覺聽覺雙重體驗中，隨前進、駐足凝視的觀展歷程，創造出觀看與被觀看間的多重無聲共鳴，與黑白映像中的新視覺奏鳴曲。
Images are witnesses to an era and vessels of cultural memory. Photographers Yeh Tsai and Liang Kuo-lung have long used their lenses to capture the pulse and cultural evolution of Taiwanese society. Titled "The Place" (位所), this exhibition highlights the unique characteristics of Taiwanese Hakka villages alongside the homelands and landscapes deeply tied to the artists' hearts. The exhibition showcases the photographers' intentions at the exact moment of pressing the shutter, expressing their distinct viewpoints, Hakka identity, and a calm, steady gaze toward humanity and the world they inhabit.
Since 1989, Liang Kuo-lung has primarily worked with black-and-white photography, focusing on his documentary series "Andante." Currently at a highly prolific stage in his creative career, he has dedicated recent years to extensive fieldwork. His works carry a distinct musical quality, weaving an andante-like rhythm through alternating highlights and shadows. This creates a visual narrative that flows at varying paces, allowing viewers to experience a blend of sight and implied sound. As visitors move through and pause within the space, a silent resonance builds between the observer and the observed, composing a new visual sonata in black and white.
