The National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts debuted the first "2020 Taiwan International Light Festival," showcasing contemporary performances of light art and redefining the audience's perception of traditional light festivals. Featuring a collection of works by prominent domestic and international artists, the exhibition centered on the theme of "Writing with Light," using light and shadow art to craft a fresh city image for Taichung. Furthermore, the event connected with the global stage through an "International Forum." By inviting international light art curators, Japanese projection mapping teams, Taiwanese art curators, multimedia artists, and sound-and-light creators, the forum fostered global artistic exchange. It delved into the future trends of international light art and light festivals, exploring how Taiwan's light festivals can build a unique and valuable global brand.
